# Welcome to Troop Themes Support & Knowledge Base

## New to Shopify?

If you are setting up a store for the first time, start with the [Shopify Help Center](https://help.shopify.com/en) to learn how the admin, products, and checkout work. This site is for **Troop theme** settings, sections, and theme-specific limits, not Shopify checkout, payments, or inventory.

## New to your theme?

Choose your theme. Each guide walks through the settings and sections that will get you started and help you get the most from your storefront.

Each theme style uses its parent theme's guide: Radiance, Stone, and Valla use the Blockshop guide. Bloom uses the Maker guide. Cafe and Elements use the Emerge guide. Fleur uses the Beyond guide.

## Find answers about your theme on this site

Most questions are one of: a Theme settings path, a section choice, Shopify admin data, or an app.

- **Troubleshooting**: If something _used to work_ and no longer does, see [Troubleshooting](https://support.troopthemes.com/guide/troubleshooting/) first (isolate apps vs theme, then topic-specific guides).
- **FAQs**: Short answers on compatibility, metafields, performance, and common tasks. Browse the [FAQs](https://support.troopthemes.com/faqs/sections-on-pages/).
- **Apps**: Apps add functionality but often need to be reinstalled after a theme update. Before you rely on one, read [using apps with themes](https://support.troopthemes.com/guide/using-apps-with-themes/).
- **Updates**: Store themes do **not** auto-update. You install updates yourself when you are ready. You are entitled to free updates for your purchase. See [how to update your theme](https://support.troopthemes.com/guide/update-theme/) for the process and tips.
- **Licensing**: Themes are licensed for **one store** only. You may not transfer or resell a theme to another store. See [Understanding unlicensed themes](https://support.troopthemes.com/guide/unlicensed-themes/) for Troop licensing, transfers, and related steps. Legal wording is in [Shopify’s Terms of Service](https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms#ThemeStore) (Theme Store section).
